Campers learn safety, horse anatomy, parts of tack and horse health. Safety is taught and practiced daily. To further educate campers on safety and horse related occupations, guest speakers come in during the camp and talk about various topics. Riding lessons are given daily.

Each camper and their partner is responsible for their horse during the week (cleaning, brushing, feeding and exercising). Providing campers with an idea of all the responsibilities that are involved in having a horse of their own. Special activities vary per camp but may include hay rides and horse drawn buggy rides. We are proud to offer small group/counselor ratios and a knowledgeable staff. Campers are grouped based on experience and age. We are able to take campers starting at the age of 5 and up. Family and friends are invited to attend the Horse Show and reception held on the last day of camp at 1:00 p.m.
Come out for some equine fun and learning!
Camp Hours
Day camps run Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Prompt drop off and pick up is important in keeping camps running smoothly. Lunches and snacks are provided. Please inform us of any food allergies that your child may have so we can do our best to adjust our food menu.

Registration
In order to insure you a spot in your first choice camp, please register early. Camps may be combined or additional camps added relevant to interest. Each child will receive a camp T-shirt which we recommend be worn daily. Additional T-shirts and shirts from other years will be offered for sale. Please return the Registration Form and Waiver with a nonrefundable deposit payable to Morgan Valley Farm. The balance will be due no later than 2 weeks prior to the start of the camp session.

Advanced Camp

We are proud to offer Advanced Camp Sessions available at ALL camps. Advanced camp is aimed at the camper who is attending camp for the third or fourth year. We recommend that campers have attended a minimum of two prior years of Morgan Valley's Horse Camp. However, final decisions relative to placement in this camp will be made by the camp directors.

Advanced camp further explores the understanding of 'the horse'. Learning career opportunities in the horse business, how the horses's body works and is maintained. In addition campers will get to try different styles of riding such as Western, Hunt Seat, Saddle Seat, and Driving along with learning their history. New games, crafts and opportunities have been added. Take advantage of this next phase of our camp program.

We are looking forward to another fun-filled summer camp this year!

Thank you for a great year!

Safe, considerate and cooperative behavior is expected by all campers towards each other, the farm animals and camp facility. Inappropriate and disruptive behavior cannot be tolerated. If this is not respected, parents will be contacted and your child will be asked to leave the camp without refund. No refunds are given for absences
