Lessons
All uf us here at Morgan Valley Farm welcome you to the fun of horse back riding. We offer horse back riding lessons in Hunt Seat, Western and Saddle Seat for ages 5 - adults.
For your first couple visits you will take balance lessons on one of our seasoned horses. A balance lesson, means the trainer will have control of the horse and will work on teaching you how to position your body, so that you will move in unison with the horse. Most riders will ride for 30 minutes, younger riders may start out with shorter periods but everyone is welcome to come early and stay late to enjoy our farm and get to know the horses.
LESSON REQUIREMENTS
COST: $30.00 per half hour
Prepaid punch cards can be purchased. Six lessons for $150.00
SCHEDULE: By appointment on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
ATTIRE: Any rider under 18 years of age is required to wear a helmet, boots, and long pants. Helmets are provided if you do not have your own.
FORMS: All participants or their guardian must complete and sign a liability waiver
CANCELLATION POLICY:
A 24 hour cancellation notice is appreciated.Our indoor and outdoor riding arenas allow us to provide lessons year round, so be sure to dress for the weather.
